• Payment information (processed and stored by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers)
• Communications you send through the Platform (messages, photos, voice notes)
• Identity verification documents submitted through our verification provider (Companions only)
• Payout information (payment method, account details) (Companions only)

Information collected automatically:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits)
• Device information (device type, operating system)
• Usage data (features used, session duration, click patterns)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Facilitate communications between Members and Companions;
• Process payments and manage credits;
• Verify the identity and age of Companions;
• Send transactional emails (receipts, session notifications, account alerts);
• Send platform notifications (new messages, reminders) — you may opt out of non-transactional emails;
• Enforce our Terms of Service and investigate potential violations;
• Comply with legal obligations;
• Improve the Platform and develop new features;
• Protect the safety and security of our users and the Platform.

Third-party marketing. We may share your email address with third-party marketing partners so they can send you promotional offers. You consent to this sharing when you accept our Terms, and it applies only to users who have verified they are 18 or older. Depending on your jurisdiction, this sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under privacy laws. You can opt out at any time in your Account Settings, or by contacting us at legal@katiasoffice.com. We never share information belonging to anyone under 18.

We share your personal information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Daily.co — video call infrastructure
• Persona — identity and age verification (Companions only)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We encourage you to review them.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Marketing Partners: As described above, we may share the email addresses of verified adult (18+) users with third-party marketing partners for their promotional use. You can opt out of this at any time in your Account Settings. We never share the information of users under 18.

With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it or where it is necessary to protect our legitimate legal interests (such as fraud prevention or unresolved disputes).

Messages and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and financial compliance purposes.

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure hosting infrastructure.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for the unauthorized acts of third parties. You use the Platform at your own risk.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our retention obligations.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information. We share verified adult users' email addresses with third-party marketing partners, which may qualify as a sale or sharing under California law. You may exercise your right to opt out at any time through your Account Settings or by contacting us at legal@katiasoffice.com. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 18 years of age.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. Specifically, we use:

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication and core Platform functionality. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand usage patterns to improve the Platform.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Platform.

The Platform is strictly intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information and terminate the associated account. The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and notify you by email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
